We are extremely excited to announce that we are carrying the new ROCK 4 SE single-board computer (SBC). While it is not a “drop-in” replacement for the Raspberry Pi 4, the resemblance is uncanny.

We recommend the new ROCK 4 SE for anyone hankering for Raspberry PI. It is a high-quality SBC that is every bit as flexible, powerful, and reliable as the Pi with a little extra mustard. Conversely, there are endemic features we like about the ROCK 4 SE.

  • Rockchip Processor: The low-consumption high-performance Hexa-core Rockchip RK3399-T processor offers unparalleled performance compared to other industry SBCs.

  • Single Full-size HDMI out: While it lacks the dual Micro HDMI ports of the Pi, the full-size HDMI connection makes it convenient to use with the more common full-size HDMI cables.  

  • 4 GB of Memory: The ROCK 4 SE offers one memory configuration with a more than adequate 4 GB LPDDR4.

  • Color-coded 40 pin GPIO header: The familiar 0.1” GPIO header has color codes for common pinouts.
